District 22 - 2006-2007
This was the District 22 theme for 2006-2007
and it is so true. When you joined
Toastmasters, one of the finest organizations
in the world in the field of training
communication and leadership skills, you made
a difference in your own life. You are
learning and improving skills that are of
utmost importance in your professional,
public and personal life.
Every role you perform in a meeting and every
leadership office you hold not only helps you
improve your skills but helps the other
members build and improve their skills,
confidence and self-esteem. It is members
helping one another. What a wonderful win-win
situation.
By your participation, you have made the
difference in your club, your fellow members'
Toastmasters experience, and your own life as
well. How far have you come this year? What
goals have you reached and what goals are you
continuing to reach and work toward? Don't
ever stop growing and reaching for
self-improvement.
We have two weeks left in this Toastmasters
year. That's right, Two Weeks!! As you'll
read in this bulletin there are still
opportunities and goals for you to reach for
this year.
Go for the High Five and share with others
what you have gained and learned from
Toastmasters and how it's improved your life.
Most of you will have at least one more
meeting this year, make it a Grand and
Exciting event, one that will have guests
asking YOU for an application. So don't wait,
share all the benefits of Toastmasters with
others and You Will Make The Difference!

are encouraged to attend to learn more about
the Club offices, the District and what goes
on outside the club!!
There will be NO refreshments served
at any
of the trainings.
Registration fees will remain the same to
cover expenses, $15 prepay per club or $3 per
person at the door.

HERE'S HOW
1. Just reach out and invite your
Family Repairmen Friends
Co-Workers
Dentists Doctors Government
Officials
and anyone seeking self-improvement to join
Toastmasters!!
2. When they join, make sure your
name is on
the application as sponsor.
3. Email me your name, club name and
the name
of the new member with the date joined and
date turned into TI. Remember the paperwork
has to be submitted to Toastmasters
International before, or on June 30, 2007.
- Your club VP of Education or
Membership will help you with the paperwork.

4. Remember the High Five approach.
Start off
with at least 5 people you would love to see
in Toastmasters and share with them why you
joined, what skills you've gained, and how
Toastmasters has changed your life.
Expand your comfort zone to encourage new
participation in your club.
