A district conference allows the district to showcase itself. The main ways it does this is via the district contests and through various award ceremonies. A district conference also allows the district an opportunity to perform its main function: provide education for its clubs and members. This is normally done via education sessions. The session presenters can be district members and/or others either outside the district or even non-Toastmasters.
