Contests

Contests are a semi-annual event that occur at all levels within Toastmasters. Club contest winners advance to the Area contests. The Area contest winners move on to the Division contests. The Division contest winners compete in the District contests. The winners of some District contests go on to the Region and International contests.

The International Speech contest is the main event held on Saturday morning of the International Convention held each August. The winner of the contest each year becomes a legend of sorts within the Toastmasters world-wide community. They are often sought after to be guest speakers at the district conferences -- and even club events if they are very fortunate.
