Being A Lt. Governor of Education and Training: What's in it for Me?
Be an Lt. Governor of Education and Training (LGET)!
Have you:
- Served at least six consecutive months as a Club President?
- Served at least twelve consecutive months as a Lieutenant Governor, Division Governor, or Area Governor?
Are you good at guiding and training others? Do you understand how to bring out the best in others? Do you enjoy working with a diverse team?
If so, consider becoming a District Lt. Governor Education and Training to further develop your leadership skills.
What Does a District Lt. Governor Education and Training Do?
A District Lt. Governor Education and Training serves for a full Toastmasters Year (July 1 through June 30th) to organize programs and events that help educate Toastmasters on how to reach their goals. This help includes:
- Uphold Toastmasters International bylaws and policies
- Promote the Toastmasters International educational program
- Plan, organize, and implement high quality training programs for Club Officers and Area/Division Governors, appointing coordinators and facilitators as needed
- Plan, organize, and convene District conferences, appointing chair persons and committees as needed
