Being A Lt. Governor Marketing: What's in it for Me?

Be a District Lt. Governor Marketing (LGM)!

Have you:

  • Served at least six consecutive months as a Club President?
  • Served at least twelve consecutive months as a Lieutenant Governor, Division Governor, or Area Governor?

Are you good at building new clubs? Do you understand how to increase club membership? Do you enjoy working with a diverse team?

If so, consider becoming a District Lt. Governor Marketing to further develop your leadership skills.

What Does a District Lt. Governor Marketing Do?

A District Lt. Governor Marketing serves for a full Toastmasters Year (July 1 through June 30th) to help build new clubs and help increase membership in existing clubs. This assistance includes:

  • Uphold Toastmasters International bylaws and policies
  • Ensure achievement of District membership and club growth goals
  • Direct and coordinate marketing strategies to support District growth objectives
  • Recruit, train, and maintain a strong Club extension team
  • Manage District membership building recognition programs
  • Monitor division, area, and club administration to ensure prompt submission of semiannual reports
