What Does a District Secretary Do?
A District Secretary serves for a full Toastmasters Year (July 1 through June 30th) to track and record district functions. This recording includes:
- Uphold the bylaws and policies of Toastmasters International
- Attend and participate in district training programs
- Assume responsibility for all district correspondence
- Record and keep minutes of executive committee and district council meetings
- Serve as custodian of the District Administrative Bylaws and policies
- Keep a permanent history of district accomplishments
